Joining Poochtopia is simple and designed to ensure every dog feels safe, confident and ready to thrive in our fully outdoor daycare. Here’s how your pooch becomes part of the Poochtopia family 🐾
Step 1: Register Online
Complete our online registration form with your details, your dog’s details, vaccination records, medical history, vet information and background details. This step ensures all health and enrolment requirements are met before progressing to a Meet & Greet.
Step 2: Attend a Meet & Greet
Once your registration is reviewed, we’ll invite your dog to attend a supervised Meet & Greet at our Tingalpa, Brisbane dog daycare. This is where we meet each other, assess temperament, social behaviour and overall suitability to ensure they’re the right fit for our structured group play environment.
Step 3: Join the Family
After approval, you can book daycare sessions and your pooch officially becomes part of the Poochtopia family. From there, they’ll enjoy open space, enrichment activities, balanced rest and constant supervision in our secure one-acre outdoor park.
FAQs
What does my dog need before attending?
All dogs must complete our online registration form and provide up-to-date vaccination records. We require proof of C5 vaccination, flea/tick prevention and desexing (where age-appropriate) before booking a Meet & Greet.
What happens at the Meet & Greet?
The Meet & Greet is a short, supervised session where we gently introduce your dog to our space and group dynamics. This allows us to ensure they’re comfortable, confident and the right fit for our structured, small–medium soft play environment.
What if my dog doesn’t pass the Meet & Greet?
Not every daycare environment suits every dog, and that’s okay. If we feel Poochtopia isn’t the right fit, we’ll always be honest and prioritise your dog’s wellbeing.
How do I book once approved?
Once your dog has successfully completed their Meet & Greet, you’ll receive access to our booking system where you can select your preferred daycare days.
What type of dogs do you accept?
We specialise in small to medium, soft-play dogs who would enjoy socialising in a balanced group setting. Safety, temperament and group harmony are our top priorities.
Is the daycare fully outdoors?
Yes – Poochtopia is set across one secure acre of fully outdoor space in Tingalpa, Brisbane. Dogs enjoy fresh air, open space, enrichment activities and shaded rest areas throughout the day.
How are dogs supervised?
Our experienced team are present and engaged all day, guiding play, monitoring behaviour and ensuring every dog feels safe and included.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Because we’re fully outdoors, we may close for the day in the event of severe weather. If this happens, you’ll receive a credit or refund for your booking. Your dog’s safety always comes first.
