Our Origins

Our Story 🐾

Poochtopia began with a lifelong love of animals and years spent fostering and caring for dogs from all walks of life. Through hands-on experience, we came to truly understand how dogs think, feel and connect - and what they need to feel safe, confident and happy. That journey inspired us to create a fully outdoor dog daycare in Tingalpa - a secure, one-acre space where dogs can run, explore, socialise, rest and simply be themselves in a carefully supervised environment designed around their natural rhythms.

A Day at Poochtopia

At Poochtopia, your dog enjoys a full day of outdoor, play-based fun in our one-acre adventure park in Tingalpa, just 20 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. From the moment they arrive, tails start wagging as the day unfolds with open space, fresh air and new friendships forming naturally.

Dogs spend their time running, exploring, splashing in the pool, digging in the sandpit, climbing, chasing and relaxing in shaded areas at their own pace. Because we’re fully outdoors, they experience grass under their paws, sunshine on their backs and new scents to explore throughout the day.

Our experienced team stays present and attentive, guiding play and ensuring every dog feels safe, included and comfortable. Everything your pooch needs for a complete daycare experience is included - structured group play, enrichment activities, supervised rest periods, the occasional treat and plenty of cuddles!

By the end of the day, you’re picking up a calm, content pooch who’s enjoyed space to move, friends to play with and a structured day built around their wellbeing.

    Constant monitoring by experienced handlers, with scheduled rest periods built in to ensure every dog stays happy, balanced and not overwhelmed.

What’s included in a daycare day at Poochtopia?

Every daycare session includes:

  • Supervised play in our outdoor adventure park
  • Enrichment activities throughout the day
  • Swimming and splash pool fun (weather permitting)
  • Digging and sensory play in our sandpit
  • Nearly one acre of running room
  • Scheduled rest times to prevent overstimulation
  • Snacks provided during the day

Each day is carefully structured to balance play, enrichment, and rest.

When can I start booking my dog(s) in for daycare?

Once your dog has registered for and completed a Meet & Greet and has been approved by the Poochtopia team, you’ll be able to book daycare sessions online. After approval, you’ll receive access to our online booking system where you can easily select and manage your dog’s daycare days.
