The Poochtopia Difference

At Poochtopia, dog daycare is designed differently. Our entire model is built around space, structure and suitability.

We are a fully outdoor dog daycare, operating on one secure acre where dogs can move naturally, breathe fresh air and engage in structured group play. Our environment is controlled and carefully supervised, with dogs grouped by size and play style to support positive social dynamics.

We specialise in small to medium soft-play dogs, allowing us to maintain a calm, balanced and well-managed daycare experience. Every session is thoughtfully structured with enrichment, rest and consistent supervision so each dog feels secure, engaged and part of the pack.

Booking & Approval Process FAQs

How does it work?

Joining Poochtopia is a simple three-step process designed to ensure every dog is the right fit for our structured outdoor daycare environment.

Step 1: Register Online
Complete our online registration form with your details, your dog’s information, vaccination records and medical history. This ensures all health and enrolment requirements are reviewed before progressing.

Step 2: Attend a Meet & Greet
Once your registration is approved, your dog will attend a supervised Meet & Greet at our Tingalpa, Brisbane daycare park. We assess temperament, social behaviour and overall suitability for our small to medium soft-play groups.

Step 3: Book Daycare
After approval, you’ll gain access to online booking on this booking page.

What is a Meet & Greet?

A Meet & Greet is a relaxed, in-person visit where you bring your pooch to our adventure park so we can meet you both before approving your application.

Meet & Greets help us ensure every dog is safe, happy, and well-suited to our daycare adventures. It’s all about setting your dog up for a positive and enjoyable experience.

What happens at the Meet & Greet?

The Meet & Greet is a short, supervised session where we gently introduce your dog to our space and group dynamics. This allows us to ensure they're comfortable, confident and the right fit for our structured, small–medium soft play environment.

What if my dog doesn't pass the Meet & Greet?

Not every daycare environment suits every dog, and that's okay. If we feel Poochtopia isn't the right fit, we'll always be honest and prioritise your dog's wellbeing.

Does my dog need to attend a Meet and Greet?

Yes - Meet & Greets are required. They’re a great opportunity for you to view the property and for your dog to meet some of our current group members. We also use this time to ensure your dog is a good fit for our daycare environment and group dynamics.

What type of dogs do you accept?

We specialise in small to medium, soft-play dogs who would enjoy socialising in a balanced group setting. Safety, temperament and group harmony are our top priorities.

Does my dog need to be desexed?

All male dogs who attend daycare must be desexed except for puppies too young for this requirement.

What does my dog need before attending?

All dogs must complete our online registration form and provide up-to-date vaccination records. We require proof of C5 vaccination, flea/tick prevention and desexing (where age-appropriate) before booking a Meet & Greet.

When can I start booking my dog(s) in for daycare?

Once your dog has registered for and completed a Meet & Greet and has been approved by the Poochtopia team, you'll be able to book daycare sessions online. After approval, you'll receive access to our online booking system where you can easily select and manage your dog's daycare days.

How do I book once approved?

Once your dog has successfully completed their Meet & Greet, you'll receive access to book your dog in for daycare on this page, where you can select your preferred daycare days.

Daycare & Park Information FAQs

What’s included in a daycare day at Poochtopia?

Every daycare session includes:

  • Supervised play in our outdoor adventure park
  • Enrichment activities throughout the day
  • Swimming and splash pool fun (weather permitting)
  • Digging and sensory play in our sandpit
  • Nearly one acre of running room
  • Scheduled rest times to prevent overstimulation
  • Snacks provided during the day

Each day is carefully structured to balance play, enrichment, and rest.

What is not included in daycare?

To keep expectations clear, the following are not included in our daycare service:

  • Training (we encourage good behaviour but do not offer formal training sessions)
  • Overnight stays or boarding
  • Grooming services (we offer basic $10 washes for group members only)
  • Shuttle or transport services

How are dogs supervised?

All dogs are supervised at all times by our experienced team. Play is monitored closely, rest periods are scheduled, and groups are intentionally structured to keep interactions safe, positive, and stress-free.

Is the daycare fully outdoors?

Yes – Poochtopia is set across one secure acre of fully outdoor space in Tingalpa, Brisbane. Dogs enjoy fresh air, open space, enrichment activities and shaded rest areas throughout the day.

What makes Poochtopia different from other dog daycares?

Poochtopia is a fully outdoor dog daycare adventure park. We offer a safe, controlled, and closely monitored environment where dogs can be dogs - running, playing, exploring, and relaxing in the fresh air.

With nearly one acre of secure outdoor space, our focus is on natural movement, structured play, and happy, balanced dogs.

What happens if there is bad weather?

Because we're fully outdoors, we may close for the day in the event of severe weather. If this happens, you'll receive a credit or refund for your booking. Your dog's safety always comes first.

Can you feed my dog if I provide the food?

Yes, we can - however, we generally don’t recommend feeding during daycare. In our experience, even when dogs are separated to eat and given time to rest, they can still regurgitate their food once they rejoin group play. For your dog’s comfort and safety, we recommend feeding them before and/or after their daycare visit.

Will you train my dog?

We always encourage good behaviour while your dog is with us, but we don’t offer one on-one or group training sessions.

Do you accept walk ins?

No - we operate strictly by appointment only, so access to the property for any reason must be pre-booked.

What does my dog need to bring with them?

All dogs are required to wear a collar. When entering or leaving the property, dogs must be on a lead. Dogs are welcome to wear a harness; however, a collar is still required.
